Dr. Shepherd Murebwa
Dr. Shepherd Murebwa is the company’s Chief Executive Officer. He holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship. He also has an MSc in Commerce in Strategic Management and Corporate Governance, a Bachelor of Technology Honours degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Management, and a Diploma in education. He has vast experience in education as a lecturer, teacher, researcher, and trainer in entrepreneurship, enterprise development, and business management. He has trained youths and women entrepreneurs. He has experience in baseline, midline, and end-line research programmes, and has extensive knowledge of action research proposals. He championed the creation and operation of a mining company called WealthGold Investments owned by lecturers in the Department of Entrepreneurship and students and served as founding director and the company’s Board Chairperson from 2015 to 2021. Fostered a business development support framework with the Ministry of Mines in Chinhoyi for induction and training in mining for students and lecturers the owners of WealthGold Mining Company from 2015 to 2017. Initiated and promoted student enterprise development from 2014 to 2017 which saw the formation of student companies that participated in the SMEs International EXPO at Rainbow Towers in 2015. Nurtured the formation and development of many student companies from 2016 to date under student entrepreneurship and Education 5.0. Championed the establishment of Chinhoyi University of Technology Entrepreneurship and Business Incubation Center in 2015 with temporary offices at CUT Hotel which became the bedrock for the University innovation hub established by the government. He served as National Chairperson of the Professional SMEs Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PSCCI) Innovation Hub from 2017 to 2019.
Dr. Tendai Joseph Mabvure
Dr. Mabvure is the company’s Finance Director. He is a holder of a doctorate (PhD) from Binary University of Management and Entrepreneurship in Malaysia. He is also a holder of an MSc in Finance and Investment (NUST), a BSc in Economics(UZ), and a Post Graduate Diploma in Tertiary Education (BUSE). He holds a certificate in Climate Governance, Diplomacy, Negotiations, and Leadership from the African Group of Negotiators Support (AGNES), Kenya, Nairobi obtained in 2022. Dr. Mabvure also holds a Facilitating Online (23 May-9 July 2021)certificate from e/Merge Africa based at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He also has an Introduction to Sustainable Finance certificate (June-13 July 2023) from United Nations Climate Change Learning (UN CC:e-Learn) and Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE).
Dr Mabvure is a senior lecturer of Finance and Investment at Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT) where he teaches finance and Investment courses at the Undergraduate and graduate levels since 2008. He has been with CUT since September 2004, starting off as an administrator(2004-2005) and then as an academic (2006 to date). He is an Online independent contractor for UNICAF University based in Cyprus (since 2021) where he teaches research methods and supervises masters dissertations and doctorate (PhD, DBA) theses. He is also engaged by the Durban University of Technology based in South Africa(since 2023) as a supervisor of PhD students. He is also a mentor of Accounting and Finance university students who are involved in the Global CFA competition which is hosted locally by the Investment Professional Association of Zimbabwe(IPAZ). Dr. Mabvure is an Independent non-executive director for the Airports Company of Zimbabwe (ACZ) (Private) Limited. This company is owned by the government of Zimbabwe and is under the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development. He has been a director since July 2020. On the board of directors of this company, he is a member of the following committees; Finance Committee(Chairperson), Human Resources and Remuneration(member), Business Development and Corporate Strategy (member), and Intergrity (member). He brings a lot of wealth from industry and academia.
Dr Kudzanai. Matowanyika
Dr. Matowanyika is the company’s Director for Business Administration and Development. He holds a PhD in Accounting specializing in Environmental accounting. He also has a Masters in Commerce degree in Accounting, a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Accounting, and a diploma in education. To complement the PhD, Dr. Matowanyika did a Certificate in Climate Governance, Diplomacy, Negotiations and Leadership with the African Group of Negotiators Support (AGNES), Kenya, Nairobi in 2022. He is an educationist (primary school teacher, secondary and high school teacher, and now a university lecturer). He has guided many undergraduate and postgraduate research students. Dr. Matowanyika is the Chinhoyi University of Technology Graduate Business School quality assurance committee member. He served as a Board Treasurer and then Board Chairperson for the Albinism Dare to Dream Initiatives (ADDI), formerly Miss Albinism Zimbabwe Trust. Dr. Matowanyika was a member of a regional research titled: “The Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR): Assessing the Readiness of Accountancy Profession Actors in Africa to Use 4IR to Enhance Their Value Creation”. The research was funded by the Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA) and the African Accounting & Finance Association (AAFA).
Mr. Edlight Simeon Maguvu
Mr. Maguvu is the company’s Director of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). He is a data scientist who is actively involved in teaching machine learning techniques. He is a holder of an MSc in Big Data Analytics (CUT) degree, a BSc (Hons) degree in Information Systems (MSU), and Java Programming 1 certification. Currently, he leads a team of software developers at Chinhoyi University of Technology as a Software Development Manager. He has more than 15 years of working experience in the field of software application development.
Mr. Tawanda Kaseke
Mr. Kaseke is the company’s Director for Consultancy, Research, and Training. He holds a Master of Science in Natural Resources Management and Environmental Sustainability and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Environmental Science and Technology. He has vast experience in water and environmental consultancy, problem-solving, community development, and training in environmental management. He has led teams in environmental and social impact assessment in the mining, housing, energy, and water sectors. He has vast knowledge in environmental management, water quality management, curricula development, and institutional legal environmental compliance. Mr. Kaseke has more than 10 years of experience in natural resources management and advisory services.
